Norman Williams whose great grandson is Chris Campbell and grandson is Chris Shone.

Also with family connections with the members of the 1947 team is Jamie Lewis who is the grandson of the late John Nelson Lewis who was Chairman of the Rhewl Club for a number of years and whose family firm Lewis Electrics have supported football in the Ruthin area for years. Also pictured are Sion and Rhys Roberts who are nephews of Hefin Roberts, one of the stars of the double winning side of 1973. The late Tom Smith, from the 1947 team, was the grandfather of Tim and Martin Dyer and also the late Gomer Roberts was the uncle of Mark Roberts (still playing for the current Rhewl team!).
Other players in this picture with Summer League connections to other clubs are Neil Davies who is a member of the Langford Jones dynasty at Llandyrnog. Geraint, Dyfan, Deon whose father Glyn was one of the famous Lloyd brothers who played for Llanrhaeadr and whose uncle - Elfed is the current club manager.
