History

When Ysceifiog joined the league in 1976 it was realised that it was a small village and next door neighbour Lixwm was added to their area.Like practically every club in the League they have been having personnel problems and the parish of Nannerch have been added as a boundary concession over the last couple of years.

Before 2006, Ysceifiog had been close on many an occasion but had never won any major honours, however they have now entered a golden age with a fine young team and they have won the last 3 major Summer League competitions.

Ysceifiog F.C. have added a lot of qualities to the League since they joined the Summer League with some fine players such as Tony Evans (Welsh schoolboy cap) and the Fenton Twins who went on to play in the Football League. Their main attributes include enthusiasm, a staunch support for the Summer League and good footballing practices.
