The current Caerwys catchment area is based on the original Caerwys parish and the area consisting of parts of the parishes of Bodfari and Tremeirchion between Caerwys and the Clwydian Hills; and also a small area North of the A55 intersection.

When Caerwys were elected to the league in 1967 it was a big fillip for the League being a brand new club and being the first from over the Clwydian Range in Flintshire.
Being historically classified as a town, big things were expected of them and they did not disappoint in the early seventies with a exciting team, lovely pitch and big crowds. They had more success in the late 80’s but recently they have had problems with a lack of young players and have had some boundary concessions to get around this problem.
Their main pitch is at the school but they do have a secondary pitch at Barlow’s Caravan Park. See the map for more details.

Taking the A541 From Denbigh take the left turn for Caerwys at Afonwen; once you reach the village take the first left turn and the next left turn takes you past Caerwys Primary School and the pitch.
From A55 take the Caerwys turn off and head for the village; turn right at the square, then left and right to take you to Caerwys Primary School.
