History
With Llanrhaeadr, Llandyrnog are one of the two remaining founder members of the League who’s catchment area has not changed. The League was founded in 1927 and these meetings were held in the Cocoa Rooms in the village and over the years the Executive Committee meetings have fluctuated between locations in Denbigh and Llandyrnog.
Llandyrnog are by far the most successful club in the league history and after a quiet start they came to the front in the 50’s and particularly in the late 70’s and 80’s as the above records show.
They are the biggest village in the Summer League and their catchment includes Llangwyfan and Fforddlas
