History
When Ysceifiog joined the league in 1976 it was realised that it was a small village and next door neighbour Lixwm was added to their area. The parish of Nannerch was added as a boundary concession; and at the 2010 AGM it was agreed to add Nannerch, permanently, to their catchment area.
Before 2006, Ysceifiog had been close on many an occasion but had never won any major honours, however they have now entered a golden age with a fine young team and they became League Champions in 2008 and won the Knockout Shield in 2007 and 2008. Last season they ended in third position in the League
Ysceifiog F.C. have added a lot of qualities to the League since they joined the Summer League with some fine players such as Tony Evans (Welsh schoolboy cap) and the Fenton Twins who went on to play in the Football League. Their main attributes during this period included enthusiasm, a staunch support for the Summer League and good footballing practices. Unfortunately the club was forced to withdraw from the League following the 2014 season due to not being able to recruit enough players.
